Edwin Carl Olson Jr.

Edwin Carl Olson, Jr., age 56, of River Falls passed away at his residence on June 19, 2015. He was born on September 28, 1958 in Superior, WI to Edwin and Cathryn (Dahlstrom) Olson, Sr. On August 20, 1988 he was united in marriage to Brenda P. Edwards. Edwin was a retired U. S. Army Veteran and most recently worked for the postal service.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Carl, Sr. and Cathryn Olson; one sister, Shirley Nelson; 6 brothers, Harry, Dale, Bill, Kenneth, Jack and Denny Olson.

Edwin is survived by his loving wife, Brenda of River Falls; daughters, Elizabeth Olson (her husband, Donald Horban) of River Falls, Ashley Olson of Santa Fe, NM; two grandchildren, Dawson and Baylee; brother, Robert (Helen) Olson of Port Charlotte, FL; sisters-in-law, Shirley Olson of Minneapolis, MN and Tammy Edwards of River Falls, WI; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held 5:00-8:00pm Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Cashman-Hill Funeral Home in River Falls. Interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
