Elmer Leo Bang

Elmer Leo Bang, was born on July 23, 1921 the son of Loren and Edla (Carlson) Bang.
He married Harriet Muhlman on July 12, 1946 in Red Wing at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Elmer dairy farmed for many years until going to work for ADM in 1972. Elmer also owned and operated B&F Combining for several years with Art Funk. Elmer’s passion in life was raising cattle.
Elmer died on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN at the age of 93 years, 10 months, and 21 days.
Elmer is survived by his two sons: Robert (Redina) Bang, Ellsworth, WI; Bruce (Marthene) Bang, Red Wing, MN.
Four grandchildren: Jennifer (Jeff) Murphy, Chris Bang, Shawn (Edwena) Bang, and Bjorn (Stephanie) Bang.Great-grandchildren: Jacob, Kyle, Emily, Murphy; Crissy and Travis Hanson, Zoia and Zeke Bang.Brothers: John Bang, and Donald (June) Bang.Two nephews: Tom and Tim Bang.
Preceding Elmer in death was his wife, son Paul, parents and sister in-law Gladys.

Funeral services for Elmer will be at 2:00pm, Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Svea Lutheran Church, Hager City, WI. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Wednesday at the Hill Funeral Home, Ellsworth and for one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Thursday.
