Emily K. Zenda

Emily K. Zenda passed away peacefully at the American Heritage Care Center, Hammond, WI at the age of 95.  She was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia and lived the majority of her life in the Milwaukee area.  She was a trained beautician and loved to go to garage sales, dance and take long walks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Zenda, sister Victoria and brother Edward.

Emily is survived by daughters, Jacqueline (William) Wonders of Apollo, PA, Judith (Keith) Leary of Hudson, WI;  grandchildren Karen Wonders, Kathryn (Greg Rustad) Wonders, Scott (Wendy) Wonders, Julie (Jeff Pollard) Smolarek, Zenon “Joe” (Karen) Smolarek; Great grandchildren, Logan, Hayden, Rachel, Quincey, Molly, Nykita, Ryan as well as siblings, Mary, Thaddeus and Pearl.

Celebration of Life will be held at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Baldwin on Wednesday, September 15th at 11am.  Visitation will take place from 1030 to time of service at the funeral home.  Interment will be held at a later date at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
