Erik David Lindgren

Erik David Lindgren, 56, passed away peacefully at his home in Hudson, Wisconsin, on October 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on April 21, 1969, in St. Paul, Minnesota, Erik was raised in North St. Paul. He devoted much of his professional life to Delta Airlines, where he was known for his dedication and pride in his work.

Erik and Stacy shared a deep passion for travel, exploring the world together by air and sea. A devoted sports fan with the Minnesota Vikings at the top of the list. Erik also loved golf, especially enjoying the game alongside his friends and his late father, Dave. He will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, easygoing spirit, playful nature—especially with his nieces and nephews—and above all, the profound love he held for his family and friends.

Stacy and the family extend their heartfelt thanks to the healthcare professionals who provided compassionate care during Erik's courageous battle with cancer. Your kindness was deeply appreciated.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Stacy; his sister, Candace (John) Yunker; stepmother, Geri; stepsister, Kris (Steve) Santi; stepbrother, Steve (Melissa) Kappes; in-laws Roger and Joanne Kris; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a cancer support organization of your choice.

A celebration of Erik's life will be held on November 21, 2025, at the Wild Boar restaurant in Oakdale, Minnesota—a cherished gathering place for Erik and his Delta Airlines friends. Further details will be shared once finalized.
