Ethan Paul Tjader

Ethan Paul Tjader, age 22, of River Falls, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on May 30, 2026, in Hudson, Wisconsin.

Ethan was born on November 6, 2003, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Paul and Valerie (Sprague) Tjader. One of a set of triplets, Ethan shared a special bond with his brothers from the very beginning. He attended St. Croix Central High School and graduated with the Class of 2021.

Following high school, Ethan worked for Kaufhold’s Kurds and later for Phoenix Fixtures. He was a hardworking young man who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and cherished the people around him. Ethan found great joy in deer hunting, ice fishing, and spending time outdoors. He had a deep love for animals, especially his beloved dog, Uno.

Family was at the center of Ethan's life. He shared an especially close relationship with his brothers and loved them dearly. Following the loss of his brothers, Logan and Evan, Ethan and his brother Aidan grew even closer, supporting one another through life's challenges. Ethan also enjoyed evenings around bonfires with friends and treasured quiet moments spent at home with his family.

Though his time here was far too short, Ethan's kind heart, loyal friendship, and love for his family will be remembered always.

Ethan is survived by his parents, Paul and Valerie Tjader; his brother, Aidan Tjader; his grandparents, Edward and Kathy Sprague of River Falls; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Elaine Tjader; his brothers, Logan and Evan Tjader; and his uncles, Vince Sprague, Pete Tjader, Tim Tjader, Mike Tjader, and Dennis "Barney" Tjader.

A funeral service will be at 5:00pm on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at O’Connell Funeral Home: 225 South 3rd St. River Falls, WI 54022. A visitation will begin at 2:00pm until the start of the service.
