Frances, Mrs. Ernest Anderson, age 85, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at her home in Menomonie.
Funeral service will be on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 2 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Spring Valley with Rev. Erin Nelson officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from noon until 2 p.m. at church prior to the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Frances Corrine (Rollofson) Anderson, age 85, of Menomonie, died Wednesday, November 14, at her home in Menomonie. Frances was born on August 27, 1927 in Cady Township, Dunn County, Wisconsin. Frances was the daughter of Robert and Clara (Skillingstad) Rollofson. She was baptized at the Wilson Lutheran Church in Wilson, Wi, and confirmed at the Martell Lutheran Church, Martell, WI. She graduated Spring Valley High School in 1945.
On August 21, 1946, Frances married Ernest A Anderson, at St John's Lutheran Church in Spring Valley, WI. They farmed near Spring Valley and moved to the family farm in 1955 where they lived until their retirement. Frances worked at Smead Manufacturing Co in River Falls, WI as an Assembly worker for many years. Ernest and Frances moved to Menomonie in 1993. Frances worked for Don's Super Valu in Menomonie. Frances was a long time member of St John's Lutheran Church and served as greeter and fellowship server. Frances devoted her time to
her family, hosting countless Holidays and Reunions.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ronald; son-in-law Lee Webb.
Surviving Frances are her husband, Ernest Anderson of Menomonie, son Byron (Doris) Anderson of Menomonie, a daughter, Sandra Webb of River Falls, daughter, Brenda Anderson of Prescott, daughter Andrea (Gary) Johnson of Menomonie, and a son, Kevin (Valerie) Anderson of Spring Valley, 11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 18, at St John's Lutheran Church, Spring Valley. Visitation is from 12:00 Noon until 2:00, with the service starting at 2:00. The Rev. Erin Nelson is officiating and Linda Anderson will be organist. Pallbearers are Aaron Anderson, Tom Boyer, Brian Webb, Ashley Johnson, Cyrus Anderson, Gabriel Johnson, Rob Moore, Jacob Hemmerling, Don Kirchoff, and Sam Meyers. Burial will be at St John's Cemetery, Spring Valley.
