Frank L. Wickstrom

Frank L. Wickstrom, age 57 of Baldwin WI, died on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Hudson Hospital. Frank was born February 28, 1959 in Saint Paul MN to parents Thomas and Rosalia (nee Lopez) Wickstrom. Frank attended school in Saint Paul, and graduated from Humboldt High School. He furthered his education at Saint Paul Technical College where he earned a degree as a machinist.

Frank was involved with boxing as a younger man, but to anyone that knew him, he was a lovable character. Frank enjoyed time spent watching old movies and cooking shows. Frank loved to cook, and family and friends alike will miss his awesome fried tacos, a specialty which was a tradition in his family. Driven by a love for cars, Frank spent many years working as a mechanic. His skills were always in demand, and always available to any friends in need of help with a repair. Frank would help anyone out, anytime he could. He will be missed by many.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife Angela Griffin; his daughter, Franchesca Vann-Wickstrom; step-daughter, Phrankee L. Griffin; step-son, Clinin Griffin; grandchildren, Jordyn Vann; Lilyann Griffin, Jovon Griffin, and Clinin Griffin Jr.; siblings, Mercedes Rosado, Felipe Rosado, Arturo Preciado, Elvira Preciado, and Carlos Preciado; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Agustin and Rosalia Preciado; biological father, Thomas Wickstrom; and his brother, Agustin Preciado III.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place from 3:00-6:00pm on Friday, July 22, 2016 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 1010 Newton Street in Baldwin WI. A Prayer Service will conclude the evening at 6:00pm. A Memorial Mass will also be held at 12:30pm on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 401 Concord Street, Saint Paul MN.
