Garnet Mae Ninke

Garnet Mimke, age 84 of New Richmond, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2026. 

Garnet cherished her family and her faith provided her with strength. As an avid gardener, she grew both vegetables and flowers, taking pride in canning the fruits of her labor and sharing with others. She enjoyed golfing and participated in several golf leagues. Her love for travel brought her great joy. She retired from 3M. 

She is survived by her son, Michael (Carla) Ninke, her grandchildren: Anthony(Christi), Andrew (Ashly), Alexander (Ashley), Autumn (Craig) Hansman, and Aric (Kylie); great-grandchildren Elizabrin, Benstrum, Bristle, Weston, Kinsley, Mason, Delilah and Baby Hansman. 

Garnet was preceded in death by her parents and special friend Bob Marquardt. 

Visitation 10-11 AM with 11 AM Memorial Service Friday October 23 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 2410 Stillwater Rd. Maplewood. Private urn placement.
