Gerald F. Seifert

Gerald “Jerry” F. Seifert, 82, of Ellsworth, died, September 6, 2014 at his residence.He was born on August 12, 1932 to Frederick and Marjorie (Donovan) Seifert in Prescott, WI. Jerry graduated from Prescott High School in 1950. He married Janice Filkins on September 20, 1955. Jerry was a farmer all of his adult life. He also worked and managed at the Prescott Lakeside Butter Company and in 1956 he started working at the Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery retiring in 1995. Jerry was known for being a master gardener and enjoyed farming, fishing, playing sports, being with his family and watching all his grandkids play sports, playing cards, splitting wood, cracking black walnuts, and loved his blackberry and his lake home in Siren. Jerry is survived by his wife, Janice, five children; Jill (Zane) Brainard, Laurie (Tom) Magee, Phil (Lisa) Seifert, Paul (Linda) Seifert, Luita Seifert, 12 grandchildren; Jay, John, Laura, Ryan (Jill), Ashley, Travis, Coulton, Kita, Philip Jr, Gary (Rachel), Cory and Clay, two great grandchildren; Nolan and Jackson, three siblings; Colleen (Ernie) Huppert, Jim (Joanne), Julie (Cal) Pechacek, nieces, nephews and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Marlys and Jack.
