It is with heavy hearts yet joyous remembrance that we announce the passing of Gladys “Glad” Lillian Meyer, who left this world on April 20, 2025, at the age of 82, surrounded by family. Born on March 10, 1943, to parents Ralph & Hazel Conlow, Minneapolis MN.
Glad was a devoted mother to her wonderful children, with whom she instilled in them the values of closeness and connection, which she held dear throughout her life. Her family was her greatest joy, and she looked forward to every gathering, where laughter and love filled the air.
A lover of the outdoors, Glad found peace and happiness in nature. Whether she was walking along Lake Front Park, biking on the Red Cedar Trail, or enjoying the beauty of autumn leaf color drives, her spirit thrived in every moment spent outside. She learned to kayak later in life, discovering new adventures with a childlike enthusiasm. A bonfire under the starlit sky was a perfect way for her to unwind, all while savoring her favorite treats: ice cream and popcorn.
Glad had a passion for music; her love for the guitar and piano brought joy to many, and she often shared her talents. She cherished her “lady nights” with friends, creating enduring memories filled with laughter and camaraderie.
An avid reader, Glad dedicated time to her daily devotionals, reflecting her deep faith and commitment to spiritual growth. She treasured traveling with her sisters, fostering a bond that will echo through generations.
Glad will be dearly missed by her children Keith Linneman, Vicki Linneman, Lisa Linneman, and Ron Atkins; grandchildren Anthony (Jenna) Pechuman and Cassie (Luke) Pechuman; great-grandchildren Addalynn, Henley, and Ryker; plus many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her beloved husbands Jerry Conley, James “Clyde” Meyer, and Dan Linneman
Her legacy of warmth and joy will be celebrated in a Celebration of Life to be held at Willow River State Park, June 21st 2025, where family and friends can gather to honor her memory, inviting all whose lives were enriched by Glad to join in remembering a remarkable woman.
