Gordon Daniel Brandt, 61, left this world on December 9th, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Gordie was born on January 9th, 1964 in New Richmond Wisconsin, the son of Jerome and Angeline (Amundson) Brandt. He grew up in the small town of Emerald Wisconsin with his seven siblings, and graduated the class of 1982 at Glenwood City High School.
Gordie had dedication and a strong work ethic working at McMillan Electric Company for many years. He then found a family at Gregerson Ace Hardware.
He had many passions in life, including hunting of all kinds, gunsmithing, target shooting, fishing, and attending car shows with his nephew, where he showed off his one of 500 1979 Bradley GT II kit car. Gordie shared the joy of his car with his children and grandchildren.
He was known for his kindness, strength, selflessness, compassion, dedication, and his sense of humor that could light up any room.
Gordie fought his battle with cancer with a positive attitude and quiet courage, never allowing it to diminish the deep love he held for his girls or his out look of life. He was a loving father to his three daughters, who were the center of his life. His resilience, dignity, and unwavering devotion to his daughters and grandchildren will forever shape their lives.
He is survived by his three daughters, Jennifer Brandt (Jameson); grandson Mason, Kailey Brandt (Sam); granddaughter Evangeline, Briana Brandt (Steven); grandson Elijah. He is also survived by his siblings, Mark Brandt, Susan Lawson, Barb Delong (Daniel), Tami Peterson, Kevin Brandt, Kathy Brandt (Bobby), Julie Standaert; as well as his beloved dog Misty, and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Gordon was preceded in death by his father Jerry and his mother Angie Brandt, and brother in-laws Pete Peterson and Ron Standaert.
Gordie will be having a celebration of life at a later time.
