Henry “Hank” Thell

Henry “Hank” Martin Thell, age 71, died Tuesday, November 20, 2018. Hank was born on May 30, 1947 in St. Paul, MN to Michael & Doris Thell. He attended North St. Paul High School & became a pump service technician for Mantyla Well Drilling. He proudly worked there for over 30 years as a dedicated & valued employee. Hank found love over 35 years ago with his soul mate, Donna Bergstrom. They loved antique cars & often attended old car shows. He never turned down a game of cribbage, & was fond of watching westerns. Hank had his own motorcycle, & he & Donna loved rides on the countryside roads.

Hank will remain in the hearts of his best friend and love of his life, Donna; son, Justin (Emily) Thell of Shoreview; grandchildren, Colton and Cash; step-daughter, Amber (Jay) Earney of Virginia & grandson Nicholas; brothers, Michael Thell (Mary) of St. Paul, Marty (Julie) Thell of Lino Lakes, Joe (Darlene) Thell of Texas, & many nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Hanna, & son, Quentin; & sister-in-law Gayle Thell.

A Service for Hank will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the O’Connell Funeral Home, Hudson with a Visitation one-hour prior.
