Irene Mrs. Stanley Larson

Irene Larson, age 75 of Wilson, Wisconsin died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Baldwin Care Center.
Irene was born March 12, 1937 in Baldwin Township, the daughter of Gerhard and Ellen (Krugerud) Bosman.  She grew up in the Baldwin, Wilson, and Hersey area and had attended Baldwin and Hersey grade school and Woodville High School.
On July 4, 1954 Irene married Stanley Larson at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.  The lived and farmed in Springfield Township until 1967 when they moved into Wilson.  Stanley died in 1976 and about a year and a half later Irene became a Nursing Assistant at Park View Home.  She took classes and training on the job at Park View and worked there for 26 years.
Irene loved her family and raised 4 children.  She had attended Zion Lutheran Church in Woodville where she taught Sunday School for about 20 years.  She also loved animals, especially her dogs.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband Stanley; sister Gladys Brorson; brother Walter Bosman and his wife Jean; and infant brother-in-law Edwin; in-laws: Elster and Helen Larson; Maynard and Marveda Larson; Alvin Larson; Harvey and Loris Larson; and Alice 'Rose' Larson and special friend Frank Johnson.
She is survived by her 4 children: Stanley (Susan) Larson Jr. of Wilson; James Larson of Ellsworth; David (Lesley) Larson of Glenwood City; and Laurie Larson of Wilson; 4 grandchildren: Jennifer (Chris) Pflanzer of Wilson; Christopher Larson of Wilson; Amanda (Shawn) Millermon of Wilson; and Joshua Larson of Wilson; 3 great grandchildren: Savanna, Elijah, and Baylie Millermon; brother Harvey (Donna) Bosman of Baldwin; brother-in-law Dale Brorson of Baldwin; brother-in-law Eugene (Jan) Larson of Menomonie; special pet Spotodot; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was 5-8 p.m. Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Keehr Funeral Home, Spring Valley.  Funeral service was 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 14 with Rev. Keith Anderson officiating.  Vicky Lovestrand was organist and special music was provided by Elizabeth Leon and Kari Irani.  Honorary bearers were: Savanna, Elijah, and Baylie Millermon.  Pallbearers were David Larson, Stanley Larson, Joshua Larson, Phillip 'Buzz' Johnson, Shawn Millermon, and Gary Larson.
