9/22/1940 – 2/1/2014
Phil was born in Litchfield, Minnesota and graduated from both North Park University and North Park Theological Seminary. He had a long career with the State of Minnesota Department of Human Services. He is survived by his wife Ruth; daughters Kerstin Hanson and Suzanne Medina; son-in-law Mat Hanson; grandchildren, Jessica, Ethan (Hanson) Rylan, Quinn (Medina), and siblings Marion Bratland, Dwight Peterson, and Gordon Peterson. His kind and loving spirit will be missed by all whose lives he touched. Visitation will be at the O’Connell Funeral Home, 520 11th St. S. in Hudson WI on Monday, Feb. 10 from 3:00-5:00pm. Memorials preferred to the Salvation Army.
