James Carciofini

James Conrad Carciofini, age 81, of Hudson, WI passed away on Tuesday July 12, 2022 at his home with his family by his side. He was born on July 29, 1940 in Minneapolis, MN to parents Ralph Conrad and Margaret (Robertson) Carciofini. He graduated from Richfield High School just before enlisting in the United States Air Force where he proudly served for 4 years. Upon his return from the service, he worked as a supervisor at Univac for 10 years.  After that he was a manager within the Stillwater Prison (MinCor) where he worked until his retirement.

He was a very artistic man and he used his engineering mind to bring his ideas to life.  He was also a collector of many things including clocks and trains. He enjoyed dancing with his wife Marlene & he loved his family more than anything.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Marlene; & children LaVonne Waldon, Julie Dillon, Annette (Scott) Foltz, Barb (John) Rawlings, Laura Waldon, Curtis (Robin) Waldon, Michelle (Jon) Weaver, James (Heather) Carciofini, John (Judy) Carciofini as well as many grandchildren & great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert.

A funeral service for James will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson. Visitation will be from 10-11a.m. with a service at 11a.m. burial to follow at Ft. Snelling National Veterans Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the family.
