James Donald Ptacek

James D. Ptacek, age 62, of Hastings, MN died at his residence on March 10, 2015. He was born December 12, 1952 in Hastings, MN to Leo and Doris (Hildebrandt) Ptacek. He worked at 3M as a stock room coordinator.
He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Shari Cernohous Ptacek; son, Nathan Paul Ptacek.
James is survived by his daughter, Jessica Mae Ptacek (special friend, John Schmitz); son, Mitchell James Ptacek (fiancé, Jenny Busch); step-daughter, Shannon Billeter; grandchildren, Nathan, Autumn, Summer, Jocelyn and Tristen; sister, Pam Nelson; brothers, Joe Ptacek (wife, Robyn) and Tony Ptacek (wife, Ruth).

Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Saturday, March 14, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prescott, WI, with visitation 9:00-11:00AM prior to Mass.
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
