James E. Hengst, age 78, of Chetek, WI passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the River Falls Area Hospital. James was a welder for many years working in machinery repair. Among his interests were fishing, football, baseball and bowling.Preceding him in death are his parents, Fredrick and Erna (Zuther) Hengst; 9 brothers and sisters.James is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Carolyn; children, James Hengst, John (Brenda) Hengst, Jeff (Helen) Hengst, Joe (Jenny) Hengst, Dawn (Steve) Murch, Laurie Hengst, Bill Hengst; grandchildren, Michelle, Jessica, Jeffrey, Dustin, Danny, Amanda, Danielle, Tommy, Josh, Meagan, Erin, Jade and Grace; several great-grandchildren; 3 brothers and sisters and other relatives.Cashman-Hill Funeral Home & Cremation Services is assisting the family.
