James I. Staples, age 89 of Hudson, formerly of Minneapolis, MN, died Saturday March 4th at the Red Cedar Canyon Assisted Living in Hudson. U.S. Navy veteran and former Civil Engineer for Great Northern/Burlington Northern Railroad. Preceded in death by wife, Patricia. Survived by sons, Bradley and Scott. Services are private with burial at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
