Jane E. Nordquist

Jane E. Nordquist, age 82 of Hudson, formerly of Brooklyn Center, MN went to be with The Lord Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Jane was born on October 11, 1934 in Buffalo, New York; the daughter of Thomas and Lola (Musser) Moran. She was raised in Minneapolis graduating South High School where she started a brief career in banking before marrying her beloved husband. She would be united in marriage to Perry Nordquist, also of Minneapolis, on September 24, 1954. She was a devoted homemaker who loved her family. Jane was faithful in prayer – she spent many hours a day praying for people near and far – many whom she had never met. She had a generous heart, and she received the utmost pleasure from giving to others. She and Perry had fond memories of their many trips to the North Shore – mainly enjoying the waves crashing and seagulls singing at Bluefin Bay on Lake Superior. She will remain in the hearts of her daughter, Linda Givens, grandson, Michael Givens, his wife, Melissa; great grandson Ryan; granddaughter, Megan Laatsch and her husband, Michael. We know it put a big smile on her face when she met her husband Perry and son-in- law Mike Givens in Heaven the day she died. Jane is also survived by many friends. A private memorial service for Jane will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to an Animal Shelter in honor of her love of animals.
