Janell Klatt

Janell Marie Klatt, age 54, passed away November 20, 2020 at her home in North Hudson peacefully surrounded by loving family. She was born in St. Paul, MN on November 27, 1965 to parents Robert and Marlene (Parker) Peterson. Janell graduated from Hudson High School in 1984 and spent most of her career as the area manager for Holiday Gas Stations where she won numerous awards for her work. On April 19, 2009 she married the love of her life, David Klatt of Hudson, WI. She was an active outgoing person who enjoyed playing golf and bowling. Her favorite yearly activities included lady’s state bowling tournaments, houseboat trips on Lake Vermillion and family reunions in Myrtle Beach, SC. But, what she loved most was being a grandma to her 2 grandchildren.

Janell is survived by her husband David; step children Nik (Nikki) Klatt and Cody (Sarah) Klatt, grandchildren Leah and Danny; her mother Marlene and sister Kristine Peterson; mother-in-law Donna Klatt; sister-in-laws Debbie Oberg, Deanne (Jeff) Fox and Denise Piper; brother-in-laws Doug (Sandy) Klatt and Dan (Michelle) Klatt ; as well as many other extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, 4 uncles and 3 aunts.

A celebration of Janell’s life will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 12pm to 3pm at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, WI. Memorials are preferred at the discretion of the family.
