Janice Buckman

Jan Buckman age 77 of Hager City died September 11, 2026 when she got free. Up and away. Her body finally let loose of her, and her original smile returned, that glow of her earliest connection to the vast beauty of life. Born in January 1949 Jan Buckman died at the age of 77. Mother of Jodi and Sean, and a bond-mate to Tom. Jan lived her life as an inspired artist, home builder, chef, and gardener, always with a fierce response to nurture what felt right and to fix what felt wrong.

Dementia slowly hid her once brilliant vitality, and Tom, Jodi and Sean want to thank family, friends, neighbors, the team from Mayo Hospice Care and Services, and the good people at Goodhue Senior Living for all your loving care and support during this final chapter in her life with us.
