Janice Foley (1954-2025)

Janice Foley, 71, of Ellsworth, WI passed away on December 8, 2025 of cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donna (Harris) and Harold “Leroy” Peterson. Jan is survived by her husband Pat, daughters Amanda and Ivy, son Brady, daughter-in-law Dana, and grandsons Cale and Leo.

Jan married her high school sweetheart, Pat, in 1974. They were together for over 50 years and had three children. She cherished filling her home with laughter and love and her ultimate Happy Meal was having everyone around the dinner table.

Her love of all things pink and sparkly was eclipsed only by her love of family – especially being “Grammy Jan” to her grandsons. In addition to being a wife, mother, and grandma, she enjoyed collecting photographs, sewing, watching Wheel of Fortune, and cheering for her Green Bay Packers.

On top of raising three kids and being the person that people could count on day or night, Jan helped Pat and his brother build a successful manufacturing business. She also put on thousands of miles attending (or driving her kids and their friends) to every sporting event, parade, and band concert. Jan was known to many as “The Mom” because she was always there.

We love you, Mom, and will miss you every day.

A visitation will be held at St. Francis Catholic Church in Ellsworth, WI on Monday, December 15th from 4:00-6:00pm. A funeral will be held at St. Francis Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 16th, at 3:00pm with desserts to follow at the parish hall across the street.
