Siren

Jeannette Peterson (Freiermuth) passed away on 10/18/2025 at the age of 60 in Siren, WI. Jeannette Peterson was born 1/31/1965 to Walter and Virgina Freiermuth in Hastings, MN. Jeannette was the youngest of 10 siblings.  She spent her early school years in Hastings before they moved to New Richmond, WI where she attended high-school.  In 1982 she had her first child Jason Hammond followed by Alysia Freiermuth in 1986, Caitlin McConnell in 1987 and Aidan McConnell in 1989.  Her children were her entire world.

In 1997 she married the love of her life Craig Peterson and two families became one.  She gained three more children Jessica Peterson, Justin Peterson and Aaron Peterson.  She had a big family and her days were filled with love and chaos raising 7 kids.  In 2005 Jeannette welcomed her first grandchild Damien Lyon and from then on, her focus became being the best grandma she could be.  Loving and spoiling them in every way she could.  She then had 14 more grandchildren Kyley Blile, Alexis Lyon, Nolan Peterson, Grace Joslynn, Maxine Elling, Phineas Elling, Aya Linder, Arabella Hammond, Alivia Peterson, lan McConnell, Carter Harris, Laina Harris, Gavin Harris and Able Henry.  As well as 1 great grandson Rowan Anderson who we know she is loving on now.

Jeannette was someone who worked incredibly hard but loved so much harder.  Her grandchildren became the center of her world.  She did everything she could to make sure their holidays were something special and she would help care for them any way she could.  She loved to cook and bake.  Hosting for her family was what made her heart full.  Her brightest days were when she had her family and friends in one place laughing, playing games and making memories.  She always said "this is what it's about, the memories." That's exactly what she left us with so many memories.  She made sure your belly was always full and everyone knew where the food and drinks could be found. She welcomed everyone into her life and home.

To know her was to love her.  Jeannette loved to shop and give everyone she loved gifts. Your happiness was her happiness.  She enjoyed spending time out doors with her husband Craig and their many fur babies over the years.  Camping, canoeing, side by siding and hunting.  She had a love for life and family that we were incredibly fortunate enough to share.  Her flame will forever burn bright in the memories of those she loved and that is exactly what she wanted!

Survived by her husband Craig Peterson, sons; Jason Hammond, Aidan McConnell (Bree), Justin Peterson, Aaron Peterson (Anna), daughters; Alysia Freiermuth (TJ), Caitlin McConnell, brothers; Allen Freiermuth, Dennis Keetley, Don Keetley and Dewane Keetley, Brian Freiermuth, sister; Leann Storm, brother in law; Don Loesch, her grandchildren, fur babies; Cici and Jojo and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
