Jeff Loe

Jeffery A. Loe, age 47 of Newport, WA, formerly of the Twin Cities, MN, died unexpectedly November 6, 2017 at his home.

Jeff was born December 16, 1970 in Alexandria, LA to parents Robert and Sherry (Spence) Loe. He grew up in California before his family moved to Woodbury, MN. Jeff graduated from Woodbury High School, class of 1989. He worked as a Network Installation Technician before exploring entrepreneurial interests.

Jeff enjoyed many things, including his time coaching youth sports for his son Cody’s teams. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and professional football, including Fantasy leagues where he often dominated. He appreciated all kinds of music and loved watching Dancing with the Stars. He thoroughly enjoyed watching his son umpire baseball and always encouraged him to be the best he could be.

Jeff is survived by his son, Cody; and daughter, Kayla (Nate) Danley; grandson, Otto; significant other, Kelly Moreland; step-mother, Barbara Loe; sister, Jennifer (John) Locke and their children, Alex and Lauren; uncle, Ron (Joan) Loe; aunt, Patti Hildreth and her children Jason and Callie; and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert “Bob” Loe; mother, Sherry Loe; grandparents, Albert and Marjorie Loe, Otis and Gertrude Spence; aunts, Betty (Larry) Griggs, Judy Spence; uncle, Harold Hildreth.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, WI. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorials preferred.
