Jeffrey L. Boley, 64, of Hudson, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep from a pre-existing medical condition on September 29, 2026, at his home. He was born on July 1, 1962, and grew up in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. He spent time living in Madison, Idaho, Eau Claire and Northern Wisconsin before eventually settling in Hudson, Wisconsin.
Throughout his life, Jeffrey held many rewarding jobs, but he truly found his passion in over-the-road trucking. For many years working with Mayflower and Estes-Express, the open road brought him immense joy and excitement. Most recently, he found fulfillment working as a shipping forklift operator at Nor-Lake, where he built deep, meaningful friendships with his co-workers. He was widely liked for his kindness, unwavering dedication, and quick sense of humor.
A caring father and grandfather, Jeffrey cherished every moment spent with his family. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, boating, and camping—and passionately cheered on the Packers, Badgers, and Brewers. He also had appreciation for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed going on many rides with his friends.
Jeffrey is survived by his daughters, Shannon (Ben) Steensland and Rebecca McBride; his grandchildren, Alexis, Parker, Adelynn, Carter, and Austen; his siblings, Rodney (Suanne) Boley, Dennis Waefler, Diane (Lindsey) Czerwonka, Phillip (Nedeen) Waefler, and Susan (William) Sexton; and many Nieces, Nephews and other beloved relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Boley, Ramona (Hoxie) Waefler, and stepfather Werner Waefler, infant sister and former wife, Denise (Gaus) Boley, the mother of his children.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to Jeffrey’s amazing co-workers and friends in Hudson for their incredible support and enduring friendship.
