Jeffrey Scott Dyson

Jeffrey Scott Dyson, age 57, of River Falls, WI passed away at his home on January 10, 2015. Jeff was born on February 27, 1957 in Waukegan, IL to Thomas and Wilma Dyson. He had various jobs during his life with the last being a painter.

Jeff had a big heart and was very much a people person and easy to talk to. He had a sense of adventure, fulfilled in part by his work as a snowmobile tour guide near Bend, Oregon. He was also a very generous person and would help those in need whenever possible. He was an animal lover and has fond memories of his dog, JD, and will be missed by Rory, his special cat friend. Jeff appreciated all of the support provided by the River Falls community since moving here in 2009. He will be missed dearly.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas and grandparents.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Wilma (Milton) Kosar of Antioch, IL; brother, Thomas (Maria) Dyson of Trevor, WI; sister, Tami (David) Gregg of River Falls, WI; several nieces and nephews; also other relatives and friends.

A Mass will be held in his honor on Tuesday, 1/20/2015, at 5:15 p.m. at St. Bridget Catholic Church. All are invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family would request that donations be made to the Pierce/St. Croix County Free Clinic in Jeff Dyson’s name.
