Jeffrey Lee Ward, age 66, of Hudson, Wisconsin, died on March 18, 2012 at his home, with his family by his side. Jeff was born on July 20, 1945 to Richard and Bertha (Fenner) Ward in Superior, Wisconsin. He graduated from Hudson High School, attended UW- River Falls and was the co-founder and owner of Wadia Digital. His main focus was designing circuit boards. In 1971, Jeff was married to Lois Schillinger of Hudson. The two were blessed with a son, Brian and settled in Hudson where they remained to this day. Jeff was an avid world traveler, traveling to 15 different countries. He was also a fisherman. He took many a trip to Canada with his family to fish Northern and Walleye. He spent his time at home with his ham radio as an amateur operator and enjoyed tinkering and inventing interesting things for his friends and family to enjoy. Jeff is survived by his; wife, Lois of Hudson; son, Brian of Hudson; step-sons, Randy and Bob Schillinger of Hudson; mother, Bertha Fenner; brother, Larry Larson of Hudson; sisters, Vicki Fenner and Vanda (Chuck) McGee of Hudson and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. A funeral celebration of life will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson. A time of visitation will take place from 11 until the time of service. Military Honors will be provided by members of the Hudson VFW and American Legion. Burial will follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
