Jerome Foss

Jerome P. Foss, age 79, of Hastings, MN, passed away on August 4, 2021.  Jerry was a very kind and gentle man with a great sense of humor and a smile that could brighten a room.  You were in for a real treat if you ever saw one of his little tap dance routines. He was a proud master gardener, enjoyed nature and walks on the prairie near his home.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Joan Imsdahl; children, Jerome Foss, Kristine (Keith) Gordon and James (Mary Jo) Edmondson; grandchildren, Kianna, Olivia, and Keith; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Kenneth (Donna) Foss, Donald (Deana) Foss, Bill (Linda) Foss, Dennis (Shirley) Foss, Marvin (Margie) Foss and Ray Foss; brother-in-law, Jeff Davis; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Anna Foss; brother, Duane Foss; and sister, Andrea Davis.

A Memorial gathering of family and friends will be held 1:00 – 3:00 PM Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the O’Connell-Benedict Funeral Home, 1339 Orrin Rd., Prescott.  Military honors will follow at 3:00 PM by the Prescott American Legion – Post 61.  Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association.  In remembrance of Jerry, plant a tree or hug someone you love.
