Joan Mae Eckhoff

Joan Mae Eckhoff, age 81, of Ellsworth, WI passed away September 27, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN. She was born on March 18, 1937 in Martell, WI to Mr. and Mrs. Martin Gilbertson. Joan was united in marriage to Lester J. Eckhoff on November 5, 1955 in Ellsworth. She was a homemaker and did sewing in her home.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lester; and daughter, Julie; her aunt, Jenny Gilbertson; 3 uncles, Orrin, Nick and Charlie Gilbertson.
Joan is survived by her two sons, Ralph Eckhoff and Eric Eckhoff.
Memorial services for Joan will be 2:00pm Friday, October 5, 2018 at O’Connell-Benedict Family Funeral Home, 130 North Grant Street, Ellsworth, WI with visitation starting at 1:00pm. Private family interment will be at North Rush River Lutheran Cemetery.
