Joan Marie Wernlund

Joan (Joni) Wernlund, age 69 passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024. Joan was born on February 15, 1955 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Donald & Ramona Nagel.

Joni is survived by her children Laura Wernlund, Gary Wernlund; grandchildren Bodhi & Sumer; brothers & sister Nancy (Bill) Sauro, Tom (Vicki) Nagel, Bill (Ellen) Nagel; many nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ramona & Donald Nagel.

Joni was a loving mother, sister, and friend. Her passions included books, reading, sewing, crafts and a strong love for music and showtunes.
She will be missed by all that shared her love.

Memorial Gathering 3-7 PM Friday, August 30 at O’Connell Funeral Home, 1010 Newton St., Baldwin.
