John Allen Hanley

John Allen Hanley, age 78, of River Falls, WI passed away May 17, 2015 at the River Falls Area Hospital. He was born April 16, 1937 in Kinnickinnic Township to Allan and Elizabeth (Hauth) Hanley. He was a graduate of Hudson High School. On May 6, 1961 he was united in marriage to Darlene Hanson at St Bridget Catholic Church, River Falls. John retired from Ford Assembly Plant after 30 years in 1986.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Allan & Elizabeth Hanley; sisters, Grace (Les) Dedrick and Alva (Andy) Kinney; parents-in-law, Ollie & Florence Hanson.

John is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Darlene of River Falls, WI; children, Susan (Jim) Nelson of Inver Grove Heights, MN, Mark Hanley of Rosemount, MN, Paul (Cassie Davids) Hanley of Plymouth, MN, Duane (Jill) Hanley of Lino Lakes, MN; grandchildren, Sara and Brenda Nelson, Wyatt and Kindra Hanley, Alyssa and Eric Hanley, Jessica and Marissa Hanley; sister, Ilene (Rolf) Tiedemann of Hudson, WI; sisters-in-law, Doreen Newstrand of South St. Paul, MN, Bonnie (Willard) Bennett of River Falls, WI; many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Friday, 5/22/15, at St. Bridget Catholic Church, River Falls. Visitation is 5:00-8:00 PM Thursday, at Cashman-Hill Funeral Home, River Falls and also 1 hour prior to Mass at the church on Friday. Interment will be in St Bridget Catholic Cemetery, River Falls.
