John 'Jack' Hines

John “Jack” Hines, affectionately known to many as “The Colonel,” age 89, a longtime and respected civic leader of Ellsworth, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, March 13, 2026. His life was one of service, leadership, and deep commitment to his community. Funeral services are currently being planned. Please check back Sunday for additional information.
