John Anthony Mullally (90), died December 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife and four daughters. Born in Sauk Rapids, MN, on June 14, 1935 (Flag Day) he was a proud husband, dad, Papa and American. Tempted by a fellow Johnny to join a blind date, he met Shay (Sharon) Reasner in 1957 in Mankato, MN. They married in the same city in 1960, two weeks after Shay graduated from St. Catherine’s University, St. Paul, MN. They raised their daughters in Bayport, MN.
John spent 33 years in many positions with 3M Co. in St. Paul, retiring in 1995 as a trainer for the employee continuous improvement program.
John was the first Sauk Rapids resident to earn the honor of Eagle Scout. He loved photography, hunting, the great outdoors, dancing, camping, and most of all, his family. An avid Vikings fan, moving to Wisconsin further fueled his commitment to the team.
