Joseph Sherbanenko

Joseph William Sherbanenko, age 38, of Minnesota’s St. Croix Valley, passed away on March 18, 2022. Joe was born in Minneapolis on June 22, 1983, to his parents, Mary Singer and Wasil Sherbanenko.

Joe was well known throughout his childhood and youth for a passion for cars leading to the ultimate expression of his vocation, the creation of Shores Auto in 2017. The dealership was a great place for Joe to live true to his workplace values of respect for his staff and customers and having fun while working hard.

Joe loved to discover new places and experiences while traveling.  His wanderlust led him to many places, but he fell in love most with the mountains of Colorado, the West Coast, and recently Utah’s beautiful landscapes.

His big heart, generous spirit and giant sense of humor attracted friends from all walks of life.

He was a devoted son to Mary, a loyal brother to Bill and a loving partner to Kristi.

Joe will forever remain in the hearts of his mother, Mary Singer; the love of his life Kristi Odden; brother Bill (Gina); grandfather Robert Singer; uncles Steve (Tammy) Singer, Alex (Kathy), Vic (Angie) Sherbanenko, his cousins and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his father Wasil; grandparents Donna Singer, Alex and Sina Sherbanenko; and cousin Alex.

A service to honor Joe’s life will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022, at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, WI, at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior to the service. There will also be a visitation the night prior at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, WI from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
