Josephine A. Simolke

Josephine Alice Simolke, age 85 of Hudson, WI passed away peacefully on April 25, 2016 at the Christian Community Home in Hudson.

Josephine was born on November 21, 1930 in Blue Island, IL to Walter and Eugenia (Lesniewski) Wojciechowski. She was united in marriage to Isadore Simolke on November 7, 1953, in Chicago, IL. Their union was blessed with a son, Russell. Josephine cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed doing puzzles and crocheting.

Josephine is survived by her son, Russell (Lynnette) Simolke of Hudson; granddaughters, Felicia (Tyler) Kohlhagen, and Amber (T.J. Pauley) Simolke; great-granddaughters, Zoey and Piper Kohlhagen; sisters, Jean Perczynski and Dorothy Taborsky; special friend, Phil Stewart; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isadore; her parents, Walter and Eugenia Wojciechowski; and brother, Walter Wojciechowski.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 712 Grandview Drive, Hudson.
