Joyce A. Scott

Joyce A. Scott, age 96, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Cumberland Care and Rehab in Cumberland, WI. Joyce was born to the late Joseph and Esther Gates September 19, 1922 in Livingston, Wisconsin. She graduated from Livingston High School and twice attended the University of Wisconsin – Platteville and earned her second degree in 1973.

Joyce married William Scott April 4, 1942 and they farmed together in Southwest Wisconsin for many years. He preceded her in death in 1986. Joyce’s siblings Daren, George, and Betty, and special friend, Howard Johnson also preceded her in death. Joyce is survived by her children, Judy Brausen, Jerry (Ginny) Scott, Allen Scott, and Robert (Nook) Scott; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; plus many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will take place 11:00 AM Monday, January 28, 2019 at the O’Connell-Benedict Family Funeral Home, 225 South 3rd St., River Falls, WI, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in River Falls.
