Julie Nelson

The Lord called on one of His best Angels to be with Him. Julie Nelson, age 47, of Hammond, WI (formerly Julie Boumeester of Hudson) passed away Sunday morning March 18th , 2012.

Julie was a devout wife to Glen Nelson and a wonderful mother to her two boys Trevor and Collin.  She was extremely active in all aspects of the boys’ lives, from 4-H to sports teams. She was a passionate member of United Church of Christ in Roberts, a loyal employee of Pathway Health Services and had a strong connection to her entire community.  She put her heart and soul into every aspect of her life.

We will miss Julie’s contagious smile and her unique ability to lighten a room and everyone in it.   We will remember Julie taking part in the activities she enjoyed the most: travelling with Glen and the boys, spending time with friends and family at the cabin, canoeing, boating and motorcycling, and watching her beloved Packers and Badgers.

Julie is survived by her husband Glen Nelson, children Trevor and Collin, of Hammond WI, parents, Don and Dolores Boumeester, originally of Hudson, currently of Amery, Wisconsin, sister Sue (Russ) Clizbe  of Missoula, MT , brothers Jeff (Deb) Boumeester of Minnetonka, MN, Scott (Gayle) Boumeester of Hudson, WI, and Grandma Esther Blossom of Baldwin, WI, brother-in-law Bruce (Nancy) Nelson, Clear Lake, WI, and sister-in-law Virginia (John) Sorensen, Cumberland, WI.  She has many nieces and nephews, cousins and aunts and uncles.
