Kathleen Mary Bolin

Kathleen “Kathy” Mary Bolin, age 76 of St. Paul. Passed away peacefully on Nov. 3, 2026, at home.

Kathy was born August 21, 1950, in St. Paul, MN to Conrad and Margaret (Cassellius) Anderson. She grew up in St. Paul and graduated from St. Bernards High School. Shortly after graduation, she met her future husband at a party through mutual friends.

On October 11, 1969 she married John A. Bolin. They made their first home in St. Paul, Minnesota, before moving to their dream home on Skyway drive.

For many years, Kathy worked as an office manager for The St. Paul Companies. Following their retirement, Kathy and John bought a houseboat and spent many happy summers on C-Dock at the St. Croix Marina in Hudson, WI—enjoying close proximity to their daughter Lisa (Dan) and grandchildren Alec and Becca, who also kept a boat nearby. In the winters, they migrated south, first to Alabama and then to Florida.

Kathy loved to travel, embrace new adventures, and surround herself with family and friends. Possessing a generous and caring heart, she was happiest when making sure everyone around her felt welcomed and joyful.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Conrad and Margaret Anderson; and her brother, Gordon Anderson.

Kathy is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, John; daughter, Lisa (Dan) Tangen; two grandchildren, Alec (Youa) & Becca (Austin); plus, many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
