Kathryn Naomi DeBoer, age 31, passed away on September 2, 2019 at her residence. She was born on July 13, 1988 to Warren Edgar and Lori Kay DeBoer in Baldwin. Kathryn went to high school in Clear Lake and then went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin Superior, with a degree in Psychology. After college, Kathryn worked as a Coordinator in the healthcare industry.

Kathryn worked tirelessly in her pursuit of helping others. When she was not dedicating her time to those in need, she was spending time with her nieces and nephews. Movies were also favorites. Going to auctions and going junking were hobbies that resonated with Kathryn. She loved to turn junk into treasures. Kathryn was a giver in every sense of the word.

Kathryn will remain in the hearts of her parents, Warren and Lori of Clear Lake; siblings, Elizabeth (Andy) Hesselink of New Richmond; Caleb (fiancé Rachel) DeBoer of Woodville; nieces and nephews, Austin, Tenley and Trevor; grandparents, Roger and Betty Blanch of Birchwood and Lou DeBoer of Emerald; Aunts and Uncles, Deb (Greg) Leschisin of Clayton; Barb (Ray) Roff of Almena; Jeff Bianch of Birchwood, Roxi (Roger) Anderson of Emerald, Ed DeBoer (and significant other Amy) of Clear Lake; godparents, Barb Roff, Mary Dahl, and Adrian Dahl; and fur baby, Sadie. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Edgar DeBoer.

A gathering to visit with Kathryn’s family will take place at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 365 West River Drive, New Richmond from 4:00 – 8:00pm on Thursday, September 5th, with Kathryn’s service taking place on Friday, September 6th at 11:00am. A visitation will take place on Friday an hour before her services.

Memorials are preferred to the discretion of the family.
