Larry Lee Lynum, age 75, of Hudson, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on August 16, 2025. Born on December 18, 1949, to parents Elmer and Bertha (Anderson) Lynum in Baldwin, Wisconsin, he grew up in Spring Valley as the 10th of 11 siblings. Larry was a proud Army veteran who served his country during the Vietnam War in Korea. Upon returning home, he dedicated his professional life to the Federal Government, working as a Program Analyst for the Department of Defense for an impressive 36 years before his retirement.

Larry was known for his quick wit and his love for entertaining family and friends in his backyard, where he created countless cherished memories. In his leisure time, he enjoyed playing softball and golfing, sharing his passion for sports with those around him.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Sharon "Tiny"; children Tracy Lynum, Joseph Lynum, and Anthony Lynum; stepdaughter Erin (James) Nerby and stepson Nicholas (Caryn) Wallin; his grandchildren and great grandchildren as well has his siblings Gail Lynum and Steve (Peg) Lynum, and special thank you to Karen and Debby Brathall for their support and friendship.

He is preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Bertha, as well as 8 of his siblings.

A gathering of family and friends will take place at O'Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson on August 22, 2025, from 4-6 PM, with military honors taking place at 6 PM. Immediately following a celebration of life will be held at the Hudson Bowling Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
