LaVon Kae Johnson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of LaVon Kae Johnson (Francis, Holldorf), a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and cherished friend, who left this world on June 19, 2025. Born on July 9, 1959, in Hudson, Wisconsin, LaVon brought warmth and joy to all those fortunate enough to know her.

LaVon stayed close to her roots, residing in Baldwin, Wisconsin, where she became a pillar of the community through her passion for hospitality as the owner of a local establishment "WildWood". She was a remarkable woman who knew how to create lasting memories, whether through laughter shared at the "WildWood" or moments spent with her friends and family. LaVon's heart was very vibrant and her spirit was a guiding light for all around her.

LaVon will forever be missed by those she loved most; husband Mitchel Johnson;son Mitchel (Billi) Holldorf; son Micha Holldorf; daughter Ruth Johnson; daughter Credence (Chad) Valsavich; daughter Elsie (Nick) Holt;siblings David (Marlene) Francis; Judy Francis; Carol Francis; Robin (Deallen) Pfeiffer; Grandchildren are: Austin, Mason, Brianna, Oaklie, Vance, Makaila, Tianna, Dominic, Jasper, Brooklyn and extended family and friends.

LaVon was preceded in death by; parents Bernard & Beola Francis; son Martin Johnson; brother Daniel Francis

In honor of LaVon's extraordinary life, we invite family and friends to join us for a Memorial Service at O'Connell Family Funeral Home, 1010 Newton St., Baldwin, WI on June 25, 2025, at 2:00PM, visitation two hours before, Noon -2:00PM, where we will celebrate the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. LaVon's earthly journey has concluded, but her spirit will continue to inspire us. As we gather to share our favorite stories and fond memories of her, we'll find solace in the love she shared and the laughter she sparked. LaVon will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed.In accordance with her wishes, LaVon's ashes will be laid to rest at Baldwin Cemetery.
