Leroy Willard Burgeson

LeRoy W. Burgeson, age 84, of Prescott, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 24,
2015 at his home.

LeRoy was born on March 28, 1930 in Ladysmith, WI, the son of Roy and Helen (Larson) Burgeson. He was a graduate of Mankato High School and later Mankato State Teachers
College. He served in the US Army from January 16, 1951 until his honorable discharge
on August 25, 1952. LeRoy married Charlotte Conrad on June 1, 1957 in Mankato. He was a lifetime employee of the Kwikset Corp. in Anaheim, CA.He will be remembered as a loving husband, dad, and an amazing grandpa!

LeRoy is survived by his wife Charlotte, Prescott, WI and two sons: Eric, his wife Betsy,
and their children, Jack and Heidi, and Scott and his wife Margaret, and their children, Peter, Madeline, and Elizabeth.

He is further survived by his sister-in-law, Garnita Burgeson, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother ElRoy, and brother Jerry and
sister-in-law Ella.

A memorial service for LeRoy will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Joy Lutheran Church, Prescott, WI. Burial will be in the Pine Glen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Wednesday at the Hill Funeral Home, Prescott. WI.
