She departed from this world on April 16, 2026, just shy of her 61st birthday, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and inspiration.
Leslie was the cherished daughter of the late Dick and Marcy Rose, preceding her in death; sister Deb Boumeester and brother Rick Rose. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and her bond with her surviving siblings was a testament to everlasting love. She is lovingly remembered by Stacey (Kevin) Tiedemann, Peg (Jim) Karras, Sam (Linda) Rose, Doug (Mary) Rose, Barb (Rick) Evenson, Kris (Gene) Henck, Chuck (Joyce) Rose, Kathy (Jim) Lundell, Sue (Jerry) Gilbert, Julie (Dick) Roberts, brother-in-law Jeff Boumeester and Goddaughter Morgan Larson. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Leslie was a proud high school graduate, she always had determination and strength. She was a Special Olympian, embodying the motto, "Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt." This motto was not just words to Leslie; it was an inspiration to all who had the privilege to witness her compete.
She was known for her energetic nature, qualities that made her a cherished friend to many. Leslie had the unique ability to cheer up a room with her smile and personality, leaving an everlasting impression on everyone she met. She was a sports fan, finding happiness in cheering on her Hudson Raiders, Twins, and Vikings. Her love for bowling, trips to the casino, and spending time outdoors were sources of joy. Her biggest love was Mickey Mouse and Disney. Regardless of what she was doing, you would see her with a Diet Mountain Dew or Iced Tea!
