Lillian Fuglie

Lillian Elizabeth Fuglie, age 10 of Hudson, died accidentally on August 10, 2017 near Duluth . Lillian was born on January 18, 2007, to Maggie Wacker and Ryan Fuglie. She was raised in Hammond and Hudson and attended Willow River Elementary in Hudson. She loved being a member of the Girl Scouts Troop 56438, Hudson traveling soccer team, and the children’s choir at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Lillian was awesome! If you didn’t know that, she’d be the first to tell you! Lillian was an ambitious young lady who wanted to conquer the world. She had a soft heart and spread beauty all around her with her smile. Lillian enjoyed dressing up in fancy dresses, and putting on her heels and makeup. Lillian made us laugh with her jokes and made us rejoice with her singing.
Lillian is survived by her mother, “Mama Cheetoh” as Lily called her, Maggie (Derek) Wacker-Fritze of Hudson; sister, Iris Fuglie; step-siblings, Ana and Keegan Fritze; Maternal Grandmother, Susan Matulka of River Falls; maternal aunts/uncles, Stacie (Josh) Maulik of St. Michael and Lucie (Phil) Barry of Australia; paternal grandparents, Tammi (Jason) Schwinn of Elk River and Ray (Judy) Fuglie of Coon Rapids; paternal aunts/uncles, Rayna (Buck) Meyer of Coon Rapids, Ryan (Courtney) Schwinn of Elk River; and her cousins and many friends. She is preceded in death by no one, but she died with her dad, Ryan, whom she adored as she was daddy’s little girl.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11AM on Tuesday, August 15th at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1500 Vine Street, Hudson, WI, with a visitation one hour prior. A Gathering of family and friends will also be held from 4-7PM on Monday, August 14 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Willow River Cemetery in Hudson. Memorials are preferred for her sister, Iris, whom she loved to pieces, and her future schooling. Services are entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson.
