Linda Louise Santoro, age 69, of River Falls, WI, passed away on October 17, 2022, at her home with family by her side following her fierce battle with renal cancer. She was born on September 5, 1953, to parents John and Dorothy Vieceli in Trenton, Michigan.
Linda was married to James Santoro on January 6, 1973, and together they were blessed with a daughter Jennifer. She worked as a wire transfer investigator at US Bank in St. Paul until her first granddaughter, Haley was born. Linda also worked as a teacher’s aide at the Montessori Day in Cottage Grove, Minnesota where her grandchildren attended. She loved working with children and continued working at the school even after her grandchildren advanced. Linda was devoted to her faith, family and friends and had a kind and generous heart.
She will remain in the hearts of her husband of 49 years Jim; Daughter Jennifer (Steve) Bovitz; grandchildren Haley and Bella; siblings John (Nanette) Vieceli and Cheryl Brock; siblings in law Tom (Carol) Santoro, Pat (Lonnie) Gillum, and Betty (Tom) Chaney.
She is preceded in death by her parents, parents- in-law Elizabeth and Thomas Santoro and brother-in-law Alvin Brock.
A mass of Christian burial for Linda will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in River Falls. Mass will be at 11am with a visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Hudson, WI at 3pm. Memorials are preferred to the family.
