Lloyd Sundberg

Lloyd D. Sundberg, age 81, of Hudson, WI, passed away on May 15, 2013.

Lloyd was born on January 11, 1932 to Salem and Hulda (Peterson) Sundberg in Cokato, MN.

He attended Knapp Country School and Cokato High School, graduating in 1950. After working on the family farm with his brother, Arnold, he joined the army in 1954. He was stationed in Germany, and served until 1956.

He spent most of his career as as customer engineer for IBM in the Twin Cities. He served on the Hudson Town Board, and was active in the community.

Lloyd loved his family, fishing, and farming. His kindness and sense of humor will be missed by many.

Lloyd is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Anita (nee: Larson); his children: Jeff (Lori), Kathy (Al Ickler), Kris, and Paul (Paula); grandchildren: Stephanie, Elaine, JonErik, and Adam; sister, Ruth (Paul) Edstrom; brother, Vernon; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral Service for Lloyd will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 20, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1205 Sixth St., Hudson with a visitation starting at 9 a.m. at church. Interment will be held at North Crow River Lutheran Cemetery following the service on Monday.
