Lois Mae Dreher

Lois Mae Dreher of Oakdale passed away on May 31, 2026, at the age of 91 surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 20, 1934, in Saint Paul, MN, the daughter of Roy & Eva Pierre.

Lois spent much of her life as a homemaker, creating a warm and nurturing environment for her family. She was an amazing mom, known for her sacrifices and devotion, ensuring that her children felt loved every step of the way. As a great listener she was always there for those in need. She will be remembered for her subtle, tricky sense of humor.

She shared her faith as a catechism and confirmation teacher, inspiring others with her wisdom and kindness. Lois was active in the GA Women’s Club. After raising her family, Lois managed a Hallmark store. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Robert “Bob”; her children Bob Jr, Gary (Pam Brown), John (Jean), Deb (Mark) Behan, Joseph (Jeanne), Jim (Penny), Rich; 27 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; sisters Carrolle, Judy , Janice (Don); brother Jerry (Patty); many nieces & nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; son Steve; grandson Dylan; sister Lorraine (Palmer); sisters-in-law Leonita “Nitz” (Irv), Beverly (Carl); brother-in-law Terry; father & mother-in-law Homer & Veronica “Froney”.

Visitation 9:30 AM-11 AM with 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial Thursday June 11 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 8260 4th St. N. Oakdale. Memorials to the Guardian Angels Cemetery Endowment Fund.
