Lynn Kenneth Wandel, age 77, of Hudson, formerly of Somerset, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at his home. Lynn was born on September 29, 1942 in Omaha, Nebraska; the son of Wayne and Margaret (Nielssen) Wandel. He graduated from Bloomington High School in 1960, and continued his education at Augsburg University. In 1963, Lynn opened Prompt Printing in Somerset. His strong work ethic and dedication to customers allowed him to operate the printing business until his retirement. On October 24, 1969, he was united in marriage to Florence “Bunny” Monson, and the couple raised their six daughters. Lynn adored Bunny, and cherished their 47 years together. Sadly, Bunny passed away unexpectedly in 2016. Lynn enjoyed spending time with his family and was fond of going fishing and taking fishing trips to Canada. He was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Twins.

Lynn is survived by his daughters, Jeanna Mae (Mike) Magsig, Cindy Lynn (Gary) Rosenbaum, Sandra (Dale) DeVoss, Helena Wandel, Josie Wandel (Matt Gilbertson), and Jennifer Wandel-Williams (Travis Williams); grandchildren, Logan Branjord, Samuel “Sam” Magsig, Terry Moore, Patty Moore, Adam Moore, Arielle Leister, Lane Rosenbaum, Lake Rosenbaum, Destin Rosenbaum, Alura Rosenbaum, Jessica Mickelson, Mary Lynn Hanger, Brandy Nykanen, Elizabeth Bishop, Drake Winberg, Maryalyce Batchlor, Tate Williams, Zach Williams, and Kyra Williams; great grandchildren, Grace Branjord, Cora Branjord, Jack Branjord, Alex Moore, Nickie Moore, Michael Moore, Eli Moore, Allison Webster, Cole Webster, Jordan Webster, Jax Moore, Aubrietta Leister, Elleira Leister, Carter Mickelson, and Piper Hanger; sister, Amy Wandel; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Florence “Bunny”; and his parents.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the Hillside Cemetery in Somerset, WI. Social distancing and face masks are encouraged, feel free to bring lawn chairs.
