Lynne Aileen Foss

Lynne Aileen Foss, age 87, passed away peacefully at her home in Hudson, Wisconsin on April 5, 2026.

She was born on February 24, 1939, in Kansas City, Missouri. On June 4, 1960, she married Wallace Foss Jr. in Hudson, where they built their life together.

Lynne was a devoted wife and a busy, caring mother to four children. She dedicated many years as a nursing assistant at Hudson Hospital, where she took pride in helping others. Later in life, she enjoyed working at The Hudson House making salads for the salad bar and cooking breakfasts.

At home, Lynne found joy in the simple things. She loved reading and always had a book close by. She enjoyed baking and spending time with her family. She also had a special love for dogs, especially Huskies.

Lynne will be remembered for her quiet strength, her caring nature, and the love she gave to her family. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Lynne’s life will be held at a later date by her family. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Willow River Cemetery in Hudson, Wisconsin.

Cremation services have been entrusted to O'Connell Funeral Homes.
