Malcolm Eugene Tuve, aged 91 of Hudson, passed away peacefully February 19, 2026.

He was born on March 25, 1934, in Viroqua, WI to Marlow and Alice Tuve. Malcolm grew up and attended school in Viroqua, where he met Mary Ann Stevens in the saxophone section of the high school band. They were united in marriage on June 15, 1957. They lived in Lakeland, MN and Hudson, WI where they raised their family. They also enjoyed a lake home on Big Lake near Osceola, WI.

Malcolm honorably served in the US Army during the Korean War. He is an alumnus of Luther College and UW-Stout, where he earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees in American History and Industrial Arts. From 1959 to 1992 Malcolm taught Industrial Arts and American History at the Stillwater Junior High School. In the summertime he did various construction jobs and enjoyed the lake and summer road trips with his family.

He was a man of many talents. He enjoyed jazz music and was a good saxophone player. He was also an accomplished downhill skier, artist, wood worker and carver. He collected duck decoys and hunted, fished, and golfed whenever he could. He and Mary Ann spent many winters in Arizona and enjoyed traveling during retirement. Macolm was an active member of the Bethel Lutheran Church in Hudson. He read the Bible daily and taught Bible studies.

Preceding him in death were his parents, sister Arra Mae Willis, and his infant son Lars.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Mary Ann; daughter Ellen (Jim) Smith; son Chris (Dianne); and seven grandchildren: Patrick, Erik, Meredith, Glynis, Signe, Karis, & Toby.
